Well. Ok. So the Clipper Race stops more than once during the circumnavigation. However, a group of circumnavigators from the Clipper 11-12 Race have set up a website called ‘One Stop Around the World‘ to pass on their acquired wisdom and knowledge to those of us following in their soggy footsteps. There are a number of interesting articles covering the all important question of which are the best boots to wear, good ways of storing and keeping gear on board dry as well as tips on raising sponsorship to name but a few. You never know, some of these tips might be useful to those who sail smaller dinghies and want to keep their sandwiches dry on their Laser.
If you look closely enough, you might find some pages written by a familiar person (but if you need some help, click here or here). Recognise anyone?
Thanks – good find.
Thanks 🙂
