Snakes and Ladders

As one of the skippers remarked in his daily update, the first race to Brest has been a bit like a game of snakes and ladders, with light winds and tides causing boat positions to change regularly throughout the course of the race so far.

Tonight, Derry~Londondery~Doire are currently working hard to maintain their first place, but I expect that the leadership of the race will change many times between now and the race finish in Brest. It’s going to be a close race all the way by the look of things… trim, trim, trim!
